What we collect

• Your name, email address, mobile number and whether you are happy to be contacted on WhatsApp.
• What you tell us in a form: a watch you would like to buy, see, sell, consign or have found for you, including its serial number and any photographs you send.
• Your email address, if you join the Lumière Letter.

How we use it

Only to reply to you, arrange viewings, value, source and trade watches, meet our legal record-keeping obligations and, if you asked, send you the Letter. We never sell or rent your information.

Your photographs

Photos are resized on your own device, which removes their location data before they leave it. They are stored privately, visible only to our staff, and shown to them through links that expire after a few minutes.

Storage and security

Your information is held with reputable cloud providers, behind access controls that allow only authorised staff to read it. When you send a form we keep a scrambled, one-way form of your internet address to stop abuse, never the address itself. We keep information only as long as we need it or the law requires.

The Lumière Letter

If you subscribe, we store your email address to send occasional notes about new arrivals. You can ask us to remove it at any time.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses no advertising or tracking cookies. We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not identify you. If you choose a currency, that choice is remembered in your own browser and never sent to us.

Access and correction

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. If you have a concern about how we have handled it, write to us first. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
